US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, General Terence O’Shaughnessy announced that NORTHCOM USA personnel would be separated and evacuated to bunkers located in the mountains of Colorado.
During his speech, the general said that control and team personnel will be transferred to the bunkers.
The bunker was built in the 60s of the last century and is a large underground complex. It is located at a depth of about 610 meters next to Colorado Springs.
In the central part of this complex there are six tunnels with a width of almost 12 meters and a height of three floors. The bunker is reliably protected from explosions and other similar dangers by two steel doors, the weight of which reaches 21 tons.
Director of AR Steve Rose said that this place can be called the safest on the whole planet. A similar decision was made so that the country could maintain its combat readiness in any situation.
The most important command staff, which is engaged in the implementation of serious tasks, will be isolated. All other military personnel also carefully monitor their health and take certain precautions. It is worth noting that the military does not give details of the isolation of important units and only reports superficial information.
