(ORDO NEWS) — The Clark family from Michigan (USA) became the first of its kind in 138 years to have a girl.
This event attracted the attention of many people, including the media. How this happened and what was the experience for the family, we will tell further.
Carolyn and Andrew Clark already had one son and decided to have another child.
In 2021, a woman became pregnant, but, unfortunately, a miscarriage occurred. Later they conceived another child and were looking forward to his birth.
Carolyn says that when they found out about the pregnancy, they didn’t care if the baby was a boy or a girl. The main thing for them was that the child was healthy.
They decided to find out the sex of the child at a gender announcement party. For this, cookies with multi-colored fillings were prepared – blue for a boy and pink for a girl.
Breaking the cookie, Andrew saw a pink color inside and was stunned silent for a while. But then, when it dawned on him that he would have a daughter, he was very happy.
On March 17, 2023, Carolyn gave birth to a healthy daughter, whom they named Audrey.
The Clark family says it was a huge surprise for everyone and they feel very happy. As Carolyn emphasizes, what matters is not who is born, but that the child is born healthy.
Of course, the event that happened in the Clark family is not exceptional in terms of science, but for them it was a big step and experience.
This emphasizes how important it is to appreciate every birth of a healthy child, and what a great happiness it is for every family.
