US Air Force aircraft flies over Korean Peninsula

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — On April 4, an American reconnaissance aircraft was spotted over the Korean Peninsula. This was reported by KBS, citing Aircraft Spots, a military aviation tracking service.

According to published data, a large strategic reconnaissance aircraft Boeing RC-135W was seen over the metropolitan region and the province of Gangwon-do.

Experts suggest that this flight was planned, or was made to track signs of possible new launches by the DPRK.

Recall that this reconnaissance aircraft model was spotted on the Korean Peninsula on March 29 and 31.

Boeing RC-135W is an electronic reconnaissance aircraft in service with the United States Air Force. The aircraft is designed for strategic electronic intelligence, radio interception, tracking the activity of land, sea and air forces.

Amid the North Korean crisis, the exchange of statements, mutual threats and accusations between US and North Korean officials intensified. This exchange, as well as the US and North Korean military preparations in full swing, including missile and nuclear weapons tests, for a possible escalation of the conflict before a full-scale war are the main topics of the news in this story.
