Ukraine tested a new cruise anti-ship missile

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Ukraine has tested a new cruise missile anti-ship missile RK-360MTs “Neptune”. It is noted that tests of the Ukrainian missile can cause the wrath of regional states.

A video appeared on the Internet that demonstrated the capabilities of the new Ukrainian cruise missile RK-360MTs “Neptune”, designed to search for and destroy specified naval targets, the Russian news agency reports.

The recording shows the launch of a rocket, its flight over water and hitting exactly at the target at a distance of about 100 kilometers. The description of the video says that the tests took place on April 2 at the Alibey training ground in the Odessa region.

Last year, American media reported that if successful, the Neptune complex would be a key milestone in the implementation of the Ukrainian missile program.

The RK-360MC Neptune missile is distinguished by a warhead weighing 150 kilograms, a launch range of up to 280 kilometers and a speed of about 900 kilometers per hour. The height of the rocket is from three to ten meters above sea level.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian cruise missile RK-360MTs “Neptune” successfully passed flight tests, breaking more than 250 kilometers on a given route.
