(ORDO NEWS) — A 3,500-year-old document recorded the appearance of several “fiery discs” that covered the entire sky and shone brighter than the sun. This is reported by the Daily Star.
It can be assumed that UFOs are a modern phenomenon, which is believed by many to be related to the Roswell incident in 1947, which triggered a wave of alien obsession in the US and then throughout the world.
However, UFOs have long worried people, long before people created cave paintings, which also contain images of alien aliens from outer space.
There is also earlier evidence from thousands of years ago that indicates that our ancestors were familiar with UFOs. But perhaps they did not connect them with extraterrestrial civilizations.
One particular example comes from 1440 BC. in ancient Egypt. According to disputed reports, supposedly recorded by the scribes of Pharaoh Thutmose III, “fiery discs” were seen in the skies over Lower Egypt.
This incident is said to have been documented in the so-called Tulli papyrus, which was discovered in 1933 by Alberto Tulli, director of the Egyptian department of the Vatican Museum, in an antique shop in Cairo.
Tully didn’t have the money to buy the original papyrus from the store, so instead he copied the hieratic script and then transcribed it into hieroglyphs.
The hieroglyphs were later deciphered and translated by Prince and Egyptologist Boris de Racheville, who believed that the papyrus was part of the Annals of Thutmose III.
According to a translation by anthropologist R. Cedric Leonard:
“In the year 22, the third month of winter, at the sixth hour of the day it was discovered among the scribes of the House of Life that a strange Fiery Disk had appeared in the sky.”
“He didn’t have a head. The breath from his mouth emitted a foul odor. His body was one rod long and one rod wide.
He didn’t have a voice. He was approaching His Majesty’s house. Their hearts were troubled by this, and they fell on their stomachs.”
They [went] to the king to report it. His Majesty [ordered] to get acquainted with the scrolls [located] in the House of Life. His Majesty was reflecting on all these events that were now taking place.
“After a few days, there were more of them in the sky than ever. They shone brighter in the sky than the sun, and extended to the limits of the four celestial pillars. Powerful was the position of the Fire Disks.
“The king’s army was watching, and His Majesty was among them. It was after the evening meal when the Disks rose even higher in the sky in the south.”
“Fish and other volatile substances rained down from the sky: a miracle not previously known since the founding of the country.
And His Majesty ordered to bring incense to appease the heart of Amon-Ra, the god of the Two Lands.
“And it was [ordered] that this event [be written for] His Majesty in the Annals of the House of Life [to be remembered] forever.”
Naturally, there are doubts about the authenticity of the source, since Alberto Tulli seems to be the only person who could have seen the original papyrus. The copy that was given to Boris de Racheville also allegedly contained many errors.
Where the original papyrus is located and whether it exists at all remains a mystery to this day.
