(ORDO NEWS) — On May 27, a resident of West Bloomfield at night saw a luminous object at low altitude that constantly maneuvered, changed direction and altitude, then stopped, then suddenly accelerated.
West Bloomfield is a town in Oakland County in Michigan. According to the 2010 census, 64,690 people lived in West Bloomfield.
The area is popular in Detroit for its large homes, natural areas and significant Jewish population.
West Bloomfield is sometimes called by its inhabitants as the “Lake Village of Auckland County,” heavily dotted with small and medium sized lakes. Cass Lake, the largest lake in the county, is part of West Bloomfield, and Pine Lake is just a few miles from Kass and lies completely in West Bloomfield. In addition, directly to the west of Pine Lake is Lake Orchard.
