These data will be useful not only for organizing future manned missions, in which astronauts will colonize Mars, but also for studying the past planet.
Externally, the Arab probe is no different from other similar spacecraft. Aboardare located high-resolution camera, infrared spectrometer for studying temperature conditions, ice, water vapor and dust in the atmosphere, as well as an ultraviolet spectrometer for studying the upper atmosphere and traces of oxygen and hydrogen.
In developing the apparatus, scientists from the UAE collaborated with an American team from the Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
