US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — US President Donald Trump said on April 30 that his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, gave false testimony in the case of Russia‘s interference in the election of the American president because of the unlawful actions of the “dirty policemen.”
On the eve of Flynn’s lawyers published notes and notes from the FBI on the Court Listender website, from which it follows that the bureau employees, interrogating the ex-adviser in January 2017, could provoke him to give false testimonies.
“They tried to make him lie. General Flynn is a good person. <…> He is in the process of rehabilitation,” quotes the American leader CNBC.
Trump previously wrote on Twitter that no US citizen should be exposed to what happened to his ex-adviser.
On March 15, an American president said he was considering pardoning his former national security assistant.
Flynn resigned in early 2017 after his testimony about contact with former Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak to the FBI was seen as evidence of Russia’s interference in the 2016 US presidential election.
He also collaborated with spetsprokurorom Robert Mueller, who in the end did not find collusion Trump with Russia.
Later, Flynn pleaded guilty to the court for giving false testimony about the contents of his telephone conversation with a Russian diplomat, explaining this by the unlawfulness of the actions of his interrogated police officers.
