US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The total amount of financial assistance in the United States in connection with the coronavirus pandemic will be about $ 6 trillion, said US Presidential Advisor on Economic Affairs Larry Kudlow.
“The total size of the aid package is about six trillion dollars: two trillion – direct assistance, about four – through loans from the federal reserve ( US Federal Reserve – ed.),” Kudlow said at a press conference.
According to him, this will be the largest package of financial assistance in US history, which will be provided in the form of cash and loans to a wide range of Americans – the unemployed, families, individual entrepreneurs.
“It will be a difficult period, but it will be weeks. It should not be for years,” added Kudlow.
