(ORDO NEWS) — The owner of the Tesla Y electric car from the UK, who is an independent electric car dealer, posted a video in which he demonstrated the problems that arose after updating the software of the Tesla car.
The update, which was released by Elon Musk‘s company, removed the parking sensors from the Model 3 and Model Y cars, which led to serious problems when parking the car.
The Tesla owner showed what his electric car looked like after driving it for just a few miles on a road full of obstacles like cones, trash cans and cars in a parking lot.
The body of the car was scratched and dented, and the front and rear of the car were damaged.
The man noted that the removal of parking sensors is part of Tesla’s strategy to reduce the cost of car production.
The company removed the sensors and replaced them with cameras, which lowered the cost of producing cars, but also worsened the quality of the cars and increased the risks for drivers.
Despite this, Tesla still claims that cameras can replace parking sensors and ensure the car is parked safely.
However, the results of the experiment show that this is not the case, and drivers may encounter serious problems when parking their cars.
