(ORDO NEWS) — SpaceX is set to launch its 15th Falcon 9 this year, which will carry another batch of 53 Starlink satellites as part of the Starlink Group 4-14 mission.
Launch is scheduled for April 21 at 20:51 UTC from Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Spaceport (CCSFS) in Florida.
By tradition, the flight-tested B1060 launch vehicle will be used as the Falcon 9 launch vehicle for this flight. This booster makes its 12th flight, the second in the fleet to achieve this – and just a month after the B1051 became the first to achieve 12 flights.
The current weather forecast provided by the Space Launch Delta 45 meteorological squadron predicts a 70% chance of good weather.
The worst forecast is predicted for the reserve day on the 22nd – the probability of good weather is only 50%.
