(ORDO NEWS) — SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 with a pair of satellites from Cape Canaveral on Saturday at sunset.
The launch was originally supposed to take place on Thursday, but SpaceX canceled it with 30 seconds left on the countdown clock.
The company decided to skip Friday’s attempt to give the teams more time to inspect the launch vehicle.
The launch took place at 19:05 from the Space Launch Complex-40. The Intelsat G-33/G-34 satellites were launched into a geosynchronous transfer orbit.
The first-stage booster made a record 14th landing on the SpaceX A Shortfall of Gravitas unmanned autonomous vehicle in the Atlantic Ocean.
It was the third launch in the past week.
On Tuesday, the Atlas V lifted off from the Space Force Station at Cape Canaveral, and on Wednesday the Crew-5 mission launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Kennedy Space Center, sending four passengers to the International Space Station.
Saturday’s launch was SpaceX’s 45th launch this calendar year.
