(ORDO NEWS) — The Koreans showed an almost completed two-seat version of the promising KF-21 fighter, located at the turn of the generations. The presentation of the single-seat version was held in the spring.
Seoul is actively developing the KF-21 fighter jet, which should be the cornerstone of its security. Last year, the world saw the first demonstrator made in a single-seat configuration. The new photos show a two-seat version of the KF-21.
The machine is in high readiness. Apparently, tests will begin in the foreseeable future.
Note that none of the versions of the KF-21 Boramae has started flight tests. According to plans, the car should take off this year. The start of production is scheduled for 2026. By 2028, they want to deliver at least 40 aircraft. By 2032, South Korea expects to deploy a total of 120 new aircraft.
KF-21 belongs to the 4.5 generation. Although some elements of stealth technology were implemented on it, the car cannot be called “invisible” in the usual sense. Armament Boramae will be placed on external suspension, which means that it is far from the performance of full-fledged fifth-generation fighters.
