US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — British scientists were able to solve the mystery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were previously considered empty. It turned out that the manuscripts contain entries.
During the study, scientists discovered ancient inscriptions on manuscripts. They were discovered in the caves of the Judean desert and in Masad in 1947.
Three years later, they were presented to the scientist Ronald Reed, who stated that the fragments do not constitute any historical value, since they do not carry information.
Further manuscripts were transferred to the University of Manchester. One of the employees was able to find the letter, which served as the beginning of the study of all the Dead Sea scrolls.
The study found that four samples of ancient records contained legible text in Aramaic or Hebrew, which was written in coal ink. Scientists have suggested that the Dead Sea Scrolls are associated with the book of Ezekiel.
