(ORDO NEWS) –A team of American scientists from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration found that hurricanes in all parts of the globe are getting stronger.
Based on the analysis of satellite data for 40 years of atmospheric observations (1979-2017), experts concluded that the reason for the increasing power of natural disasters lies in global warming.
At the same time, the authors of the work note that it is not yet possible to say how much human activity has influenced the situation: part of the problem may be the result of natural phenomena.
However, scientists still hope that new information will help to more clearly study the effects of global warming.
