Scientists have discovered a side effect of coronavirus vaccines affecting the heart

(ORDO NEWS) — Scientists at the National University Hospital of Singapore analyzed data from 395 million people who had been vaccinated against coronavirus in order to trace the link between vaccination and heart disease.

The study found that in young men under the age of 30, the risk of myopericarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle and surrounding tissues, increases significantly.

In general, vaccinations against coronavirus increase the risk of myopericarditis, but only 33 such cases were detected per 1 million doses. But among men under the age of 30, the risk of this disease increased by 4-5 times.

As noted, the disease was recorded against the background of vaccination with Pfizer and Moderna drugs – RNA vaccines from the American company Pfizer.
