(ORDO NEWS) — Experts are still trying to find an answer to the question of what exactly happens to a person after death. Some time ago, they published the story of a woman who, according to her, visited the afterlife.
A woman named Annalize from Britain said that at the age of 16 she was urgently hospitalized in a hospital, and then transferred to intensive care.
The girl was diagnosed with a strange disease. All of her wisdom teeth began to grow together. She needed urgent surgery and the doctors decided that it was best to carry out the operation under general anesthesia.
During the operation, Annalize experienced clinical death. She felt her soul leave her body, and then she saw a strange arched structure that resembled a tunnel. There was a bright light all around that could easily take out the sight of an ordinary person.
Experts analyzed what the woman said and decided that this could be the most common hallucination. It arose due to an insufficient amount of oxygen, which is often observed in people immediately before death.
When brain cells begin to die, a variety of hallucinations occur. This was stated by scientists from the Manchester Metropolitan University Ken Drinkwater and Neil Dagnall.
