Scientists believe that the universe has an antimatter twin

(ORDO NEWS) — A popular theory in science fiction is that the universe has a mirrored twin. At the same time, in cosmology, many specialists are trying to study the concept of a mirror universe.

Another study has demonstrated that with its help it will be possible to solve those problems that are directly related to the Hubble constant.

The Hubble constant is a specific value that shows the rate of expansion of our universe. Experts say that it can mean approximately several ordinal values ​​and is about 70 km / s per megaparsec.

It is worth paying attention to the fact that earlier experts have already said that they can measure the exact rate of expansion of the universe.

At the same time, it is not possible to establish the exact speed, because the results obtained constantly diverge. Some experts call this the problem of space expansion.

In one case, the measurement was made taking into account fluctuations in the cosmic microwave background.

Others have been observing supernovae for a long time and as a result received a completely different rate of expansion of the Universe.

Theoretical physicists conduct numerous studies in order to establish why the exact data vary so much. In this regard, the idea arose of the existence of a twin of the universe.

Back in the 90s of the last century, the first talk about the mirror universe appeared. Then in this way they tried to solve the problem that arose with the symmetry of matter-antimatter.

Experts tried to get an answer to one important question. Absolutely all particles that exist today have their own antipodes.

Then where did the antimatter disappear after the birth of the Universe? After that, scientists suggested that there is a Universe that acts as a complete reflection of our Universe, but everything in it consists of antimatter.

Despite the fact that the theory is generally accepted, the staff of the University of New Mexico, in the USA, offer several options for how to solve the problem of the Hubble constant.

They are confident that if the cosmological model is correctly adjusted, which will fully correspond to the rate of expansion of the Universe that is observed today, then a certain symmetry will thus arise.

Due to the resulting symmetry, it will be possible to put in order those values ​​of the expansion rate that the experts receive. They can finally agree with each other.

Scientists have suggested that the Universe can be influenced by the mirror Universe through a weak gravitational attraction.

Of course, this can act as evidence of the existence of a twin, but it does not completely solve the problem with the cosmic constant.
