Saudi Arabia’s new megaproject leaves architects speechless
(ORDO NEWS) — The Crown Prince of the country, Mohammad bin Salman, announced the construction of a huge cube in Riyadh called The Mukaab (“Mukaab”), 400 meters wide and high, on the walls of which an image will be broadcast from the inside.
That is, the building will become a giant cinema, and its visitors may feel like they are on Mars or the ocean floor, depending on what will be broadcast.
Inside the cube there will be a hotel with 9,000 hotel rooms. Let me remind you that in recent times, Saudi Arabia has increasingly attracted the attention of the whole world to its megaprojects, it’s hard not to mention the horizontal skyscraper “Mirror Line” and the floating city of Oxagon.
