US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — A previously unknown nuclear facility was spotted from a satellite near the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang, CNN reports.

CNN’s satellite imagery revealed activity at a previously unknown infrastructure facility near Pyongyang, it is estimated that the facility could be a nuclear warhead plant.

The photographs were analyzed by experts from the Middlebury Institute, confirming the possibility of the facility being involved in North Korea’s nuclear program.

Earlier, the Japanese Prime Minister expressed concern about the growing nuclear threat from the DPRK. The last time North Korea launched air-to-surface cruise missiles into the Sea of ​​Japan in April 2020.
