Samsung introduced a smartphone using quantum technology

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — South Korean company Samsung introduced a smartphone using quantum technology. The device, dubbed the Galaxy A Quantum, was the world’s first smartphone with a quantum solution to increase security.

It is known that the novelty is equipped with a QRNG quantum random number generator. According to the manufacturer, this chip, based on quantum encryption technology, generates unpredictable numbers, due to which, in turn, protected unpredictable keys are created.

Thus, Galaxy A Quantum owners are provided with “quantum encryption” in services that require identification or certification.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A Quantum received a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 32MP embedded selfie camera. The main one, by the way, received about four modules of 64 megapixels.

The heart of the smartphone is the Exynos 980 processor. The device received 8 GB / 128 GB of memory, and its battery capacity is 4500 mAh. The novelty was estimated at 530 dollars or about 39 thousand rubles.
