US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — On Saturday, April 4, law enforcement officers fired on a criminal in the capital of Colombia. The incident fell into the lens of a CCTV camera.
Patrolmen noticed a cyclist violating the quarantine regime in force in Bogota. They stopped him, but the man immediately opened fire on law enforcement officers.
One of the policemen was injured and fell, and the offender rushed to run, but was wounded by return fire.
According to local media, the attacker died in the hospital, and the injured law enforcement officer survived – a representative of the police department noted that bulletproof vest saved his life.
As it turned out, the victim had an extensive criminal biography and against him there was a valid arrest warrant for a number of crimes.
