(ORDO NEWS) — Yulia Yusupova, a doctor and rector of the European University of Longevity, in a conversation with Komsomolskaya Pravda, named products that help to “block” aging.
According to the physician, the secret to prolonging youth lies in several factors associated with human eating behavior. In particular, she advised to choose products from local agriculture, if possible, organic. Also, food should not contain hormones and antibiotics.
Yusupova emphasized that the main task of the anti-aging diet is to influence the methylation process – the combination of a carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms with other molecules. According to her, the following products become the main helpers for the body:
- leafy vegetables;
- animal protein;
- nuts and seeds;
- spice;
- fruits and berries;
- legumes;
- grain and cereals.
In addition, the doctor urged to avoid canned foods, as well as sugar and burnt foods. According to her, it is worth minimizing the consumption of food heated in plastic or cooked in non-stick dishes. Foods rich in folic acid, according to the expert, should also be excluded from the diet.
