(ORDO NEWS) — Two California-based startup space companies, Relativity Space and Impulse Space, have signed an agreement to launch the first commercial mission to Mars in 2024, several years before SpaceX‘s first potential flight.
Relativity is scheduled to send the Impulse Mars Cruise Vehicle and Mars lander to the Red Planet on its reusable Terran R rocket as early as 2024.
And here it is worth noting that Impulse Space has not yet tested any of its devices in space, and Relativity Space has not launched a single rocket (the first Terran R rocket will not fly until early 2024).
