US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — DPRK leader Kim Jong-un is safe and sound, said adviser to South Korean President Moon Jung-in.
He refuted the assumptions of some media outlets (they began to circulate a few days ago; American, South Korean and Japanese publications cited anonymous sources) that the DPRK leader was in serious condition or even died.
“The position of our government is firm. Kim Jong-un is alive and well. He has been in the Wonsan area since April 13,” an adviser to the South Korean leader told CNN.
On Sunday morning, the DPRK state radio reported on the activities of Kim Jong-un. According to the agency, the head of state conveyed gratitude to the workers and employees who helped create the city of Samjiyon.
