Pakistan plane with more than 100 people aboard crashes in Karachi

US, NEW YORK (ORDO NEWS) — Pakistan International Airlines crashed on Friday near the city of Karachi (Sindh province). This was reported by the Geo TV channel with reference to the aircraft regulator.

The plane flew from Lahore to Karachi and crashed near the airport, the channel reports referring to a source in the Civil Aviation Administration. The frames show that black smoke rises above the crash site.

Pakistan International Airlines spokesman says a plane with 107 passengers on board has crashed near a residential area of the Pakistan city of Karachi.

As per details, the plane, A320 Airbus, was carrying more than 100 passengers and was scheduled to land at Jinnah International Airport when it developed some technical fault. However, there is no information on number of casualties and injured in the incident.

There are reports that at least five homes and some vehicles have been destroyed during the crash incident.
