OPEC discuss a possible 10 million b/d production cut

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — OPEC + group of crude oil exporters are discussing a reduction in global supplies by ten million barrels per day, adding that any additional cuts should include non-coalition producers.

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he had brokered a deal under which major producers Russia and Saudi Arabia would cut production and halt a drop in oil prices in light of the Corona virus pandemic, although details of how to implement the cuts are unclear.

While Russia and Saudi Arabia are members of a group that includes the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, the United States is not.
