Obama’s presidential library has thousands of UFO files

(ORDO NEWS) — The Barack Obama Presidential Library claims to have “3,440 pages and 26,271 electronic files” possibly related to the existence of UFOs and related phenomena.

We know this from a Freedom of Information Act request filed by John Greenwald, Jr. of The Black Vault, a collection center for declassified government documents.

Greenwald asked the Presidential Library to provide “documents and reports on the Aerospace Advanced Threat Identification Program, as well as photos and videos on UFOs, UAS, and the Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Program.”

In response to the FOIA request, the library said that it had thousands of documents that could be relevant to this request and that it would take some time to sort them all.

Interest in UFOs has increased in recent years following the release of US Navy videos detailing encounters with unusual aerial phenomena. Last year, the Pentagon released a report arguing that not everything seen in the sky can be explained by modern science.

Obama himself has officially stated that UFOs are real. When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air,” he told Reggie Watts during a 2021 appearance on The Late Show with James Corden.

“But what’s true is that that there are frames and records of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are. How they move, their trajectory. They don’t have an easy to explain scheme. So I think people are still taking it seriously and trying to figure out what it is.”

With thousands of documents to be reviewed and presumably edited, it may be some time before Greenwald Jr. receives a proper response to his request. As is often the case with this kind of material, it is possible that the documents are mostly procedural and contain nothing of interest or information that we already know.

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has tirelessly pursued the truth about UFOs both in and out of office.

A former employee of Reid told Politico that the search was unsuccessful. “After a while, everyone agreed that we really couldn’t find anything significant. They prepared a bunch of papers. After all this, we still couldn’t find anything.”
