US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The Japanese Nikkei index jumped 8% on Wednesday, the biggest daily increase since 2008, after Wall Street surged and US senators and Trump officials reached an agreement on a stimulus bill.
The Nikkei Index closed at 19.546.63 points after the strongest one-day growth since the global financial crisis in October 2008.
The broader Topix index added 6.9% to 1,424.62, which was the biggest rise in four years.
