US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — New Zealand mosque shooter pleads guilty to all charges.

Australian Brenton Tarrant, accused of committing a terrorist attack in the mosques of the New Zealand city of Christchurch , pleaded guilty to the killing of 51 people, according to the newspaper New Zealand Herald.

According to the publication, the 29-year-old Tarrant admitted during a video speech at a court hearing in Christchurch that he committed the killing of 51 people during a shooting in two mosques in the city.

In two Christchurch mosques (South Island, New Zealand ) on March 15, shooting occurred, as a result of which 51 people were killed and about 50 were injured. The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, called the incident a terrorist attack.

The murder charges were brought against 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant, who filmed the attack on one of the mosques and broadcast live on social networks.

According to the press service of Facebook, in the first 24 hours after the shooting, more than 1.5 million videos were removed, which captured the shooting in Christchurch.
