(ORDO NEWS) — The US Space Agency invites everyone to follow the path of the BioSentinel cubesat, which went into space in November 2022 as part of the Artemis I expedition, using the new Eyes on the Solar System visualization tool.
The main purpose of launching the BioSentinel spacecraft is to study the effect of cosmic radiation on biological objects. For this purpose, brewer’s yeast cells are placed on board.
Eyes on the Solar System allows you to see the BioSentinel cubesat at the point in the solar system where it is currently located, and with the help of this application you can change its texture and lighting.
And it also has a “time control” option, thanks to which you can see the BioSentinel at any point in its trajectory in the past or future.
