Named an unexpected way to fall asleep in minutes

(ORDO NEWS) — Scientists from the National University of Seoul talked about a rather interesting way of how you can fall asleep quickly.

They are sure that if you wear socks at night, then in this way you can significantly reduce body temperature. This, in turn, will have a positive effect on the body and a person will fall asleep much faster than usual.

Scientists note that if you put on socks, this leads to the expansion of the distal vessels. More blood begins to flow to the feet faster. In turn, this leads to the fact that the body temperature gradually begins to decrease.

Experts conducted a study in which six men of approximately the same age took part. Each of the participants first slept exclusively in socks, and then several nights without them.

During sleep, the temperature in the room was maintained at 23 degrees, which is considered a fairly comfortable indicator. As shown by the results of the study, men in socks fell asleep 7.5 minutes faster than without socks.

At the same time, they woke up at night much less often. At the same time, it was possible to increase the total sleep time by about 30 minutes. Sleep efficiency has also become noticeably higher – by at least 7.6%.

This study led to the conclusion that in order to improve the quality of sleep, it is necessary to directly influence the temperature of the legs throughout the entire time that a person sleeps.

The Sleep Foundation has warned that this method is not likely to be suitable for older people. Also, experts do not recommend wearing socks at night for those who have quite serious problems with blood circulation.

It is necessary to carefully monitor the quality of your sleep, because the health of the whole organism, productivity throughout the working day, and well-being largely depend on this.
