(ORDO NEWS) — Deep in the heart of Fukushima Prefecture (Japan) is the mysterious Mount Senganmori.
This mysterious mountain, 462 meters high, has attracted the attention of UFO researchers for more than four decades, making it a popular center for alien sightings.
Mount Senganmori has long been shrouded in mystery, with its towering conical peak that seemingly drives the compass crazy, and the presence of sphinx-shaped megaliths located nearby.
Surrounded by the strange ancient ruins of an unknown civilization, it’s no surprise that this remote location has become synonymous with extraterrestrial contact.
The village of Iino, located on the slopes of Mount Senganmori, has also been associated with these otherworldly events for over 30 years.
Every year, tens of thousands of travelers make a pilgrimage to this isolated village to discover its secrets.
The small town has even amassed a collection of over 3,000 alleged alien artifacts, further reinforcing its connection to the centuries-old mythology surrounding the ancient mountain.
In 2022, the village’s UFO lab received 452 reports of sightings in and around Japan, with 149 of those cases confirmed to be genuine.
The lab’s credibility is reinforced by a vast collection of 935 declassified CIA documents donated by UFO researcher Kinichi Arai. These documents describe observations from around the world over the past century.
After Arai’s death in 2002, his collection was transferred to the village museum, which has gained a reputation as a reliable place to identify and confirm the hypothesis of extraterrestrial life.
The Fureikan Museum, located on a mountainside, has amassed a collection of 3,000 possible evidence of extraterrestrial life, including classified CIA documents containing UFO research records.
With government funding, the museum flourished between 1988 and 1989 and now attracts around 30,000 visitors annually.
The village has preserved its unique heritage: alien-themed statues and signs adorn the area and guide tourists to the mountains. The local community even adopted a mascot – a small gray alien with big dark eyes.
For many, Iino is not just a tourist attraction, but a center for research on the existence of UFOs.
In 2021, the village received funding to establish the first national UFO lab, further solidifying its commitment to the study of extraterrestrial life.
Mount Senganmori, located southeast of the city of Fukushima, provides a breathtaking glimpse into the world of UFO sightings and research.
With its rich history, mysterious landscape, and dedication to the study of otherworldly phenomena, it’s no surprise that this remote Japanese village has become a magnet for UFO researchers.
