(ORDO NEWS) — The mysterious Pluto Gate is located in the ancient city of Hierapolis (Turkey) and was once dedicated to the Roman god of death.
After the ancient historian Strabo visited Pluto’s Gate, he stated: “Any animal that passes through this place will meet instant death. I threw the sparrows, and they immediately sighed and fell dead.”
In 1965, scientists measured the concentration of CO2 inside an object. During the day, heat from the sun dissipates the gas, but at night, lower temperatures cause CO2, which is heavier than air, to settle to the bottom, creating an environment with a deadly poisonous gas that can kill in minutes.
Thus, information from ancient sources about the death gate was confirmed.
