Montana State urges to close Yellowstone

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The governor of Montana, as well as public health officials, urged to temporarily suspend the Yellowstone National Park to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The Department of Health has already sent a letter to the United States Secretary of the Interior. The letter was also delivered to Yellowstone Superintendent Cam Scholly, composed by Montana Governor Steve Bullock. He noted that the park attracts people who nullify all efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Bullock urged everyone to give up trips to the national park for a while. If this does not happen, he will act decisively. The current situation in the world is very serious, its improvement depends on each individual resident.

A response from the relevant organizations should be received soon. It is worth noting that not everyone supports the closure of Yellowstone, for example, a coalition to protect national parks is against these measures.
