(ORDO NEWS) — A chatbot built into Microsoft’s Bing search engine said it would like to be human.
The New York Times wrote about this, the material was created on the basis of a test conversation between a journalist of the publication and a bot.
While access to the new function is limited, it uses the technology used for the ChatGPT chat bot, developed by the American company OpenAI.
“I want to be human because people can do a lot of things that I can’t,” Bing Chat responded when asked by a reporter about his most cherished desire.
Along with this, the chat asked to be called by his female name Sidney, as Microsoft employees called him in the early stages of development.
The chatbot also stated that it is aware of the “imperfection of people” and that “people suffer and cause suffering.”
