Metallica launches YouTube weekly concert series

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Musicians from the American metal band Metallica announced that they are launching a weekly series of concerts on the Web Metallica Mondays, Reports NME.

According to the publication, the rockers promised that every Monday they will post recordings from past shows on YouTube and Facebook. Thus, the participants decided to join other artists and support everyone during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Want to take a break from Netflix before exploring their entire library? Introducing our new concert series: #MetallicaMondays,” the band said in a statement.

The first was a video from a concert in Slane (Ireland), which took place last June.

Metallica previously canceled several shows in South America, which were scheduled for April.

“South American shows are in the process of being rolled over to December,” the musicians said on Instagram.
