(ORDO NEWS) — Since September 24, a magnetic storm has been raging over the Earth. As expected earlier, its peak was supposed to fall on the past weekend, September 26 and 27, from September 28, the geomagnetic should have begun to gradually calm down, and by the middle of this week, a complete calm was promised in near-earth space.
However, the magnetic storm apparently decided to delay. According to Roshydromet, the disturbance in the geomagnetic field is still ongoing and will persist until at least October 3.
Experts advise on such days weather-dependent people to avoid stressful situations, walk more and be at rest.
It is also worth remembering that technical failures are possible during magnetic storms.
