(ORDO NEWS) — Large Indian drawings that have remained unseen in an Alabama cave for over 1,000 years have been released by a team of scientists. It is the largest known rock art ever discovered in North America.
The drawings were virtually invisible until the researchers explored the cave and used 3D scanning. One of the drawings stretched 3.4 meters.
An ancient work of art has been discovered in the 19th unnamed cave in Alabama, which was deliberately hidden by archaeologists to protect its walls from vandalism.
Although its location was first found in 1998, but the cramped caves did not allow researchers to see the ancient art, so it was skipped.
