Japan plans to build a factory on the moon by 2035

(ORDO NEWS) — Japan plans to build a fuel plant on the moon.

Thus, Japanese specialists use the plant in order to master a terrestrial satellite. They clarified that the plant could be built at the South Pole of a celestial body, where scientists expect to find ice deposits.

They noted that the extracted water will be split into oxygen and hydrogen, and then turned into fuel, which will allow you to move on the moon for distances of up to thousands of kilometers.

Japan expects the construction of the plant to be completed by 2035.
