James Webb Telescope captures stunning image of ‘Ghost Galaxy’

(ORDO NEWS) — The new James Webb telescope has scanned the heart of M74, also known as the “Ghost Galaxy”.

The lack of gas in the central region of the galaxy provides an unobstructed view of the nuclear star cluster.

Another view of the ghostly galaxy, this time pieced together from the James Webb Telescope and its iconic predecessor, the Hubble Telescope.

The infrared image more clearly shows the dust passing through the “arms” of the spiral galaxy.
