(ORDO NEWS) — The James Webb Space Telescope has unveiled images of the birth of the distant solar system in a famous stellar nebula.
The small UFO-like speck in the center of the image is a young star, only about 1 million years old, surrounded by a protoplanetary disk from which planets are expected to emerge.
The cloud of dust and gas from which the star originated is the famous Orion Nebula, a known star-forming region located about 1,344 light-years from Earth in the constellation of Orion.
