Italy lifts quarantine restrictions

It is specified that from Monday, May 4, Italians will be able to move within their region, subject to the mandatory wearing of protective masks.

About 4.5 million people will also return to work. The point is that part of the industrial and construction enterprises will resume their activities.

Cafes and restaurants will be able to work only takeaway. And at the funeral, up to 15 people will be allowed. At the same time, other public events and weddings will still be banned.

Restrictions on the work of educational institutions, hairdressers and gyms also remain in force. It is expected that they will be able to open after June 1.

On the eve of the partial lifting of restrictive measures and the country’s transition to the “second phase” of the fight against the epidemic, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced .
