Italy is waiting for new help from Russia

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Russia will send to  Italy a new batch of humanitarian aid with mechanical ventilation devices. It is reported by RIA with reference to the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.

Speaking to the Senate of the Italian Parliament, Di Mayo said that on March 22, five humanitarian flights arrived from Russia to Italy with 330 thousand masks, a thousand protective suits, two machines for conducting analyzes for a thousand tests, 10 thousand quick tests, 100 thousand ordinary tests, laboratory for analysis, three complexes of sanitization of funds and surfaces, three stations of sanitization of large areas and numerous ventilation devices.

A new batch of ventilators is expected in the coming weeks, the minister said.
Di Mayo also told the Senate that medical specialists from the USA and China arrived in the country, and assistance from European countries, in particular, 10 thousand masks from Lithuania and thermometers from Latvia, arrived.

The Italian Foreign Minister assured that the assistance received would not change the “panorama of alliances to which Italy belongs historically and culturally.”
