Italian football championship may be played in the fall
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The Italian football championship may be completed in the fall. The President of the Italian Football Federation, Daniele Gravina, considers this scenario to be real.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all sporting events in Italy are suspended indefinitely. In Serie A 26 rounds of 38 planned were played.
Daniele Gravina said that the championship must certainly be completed in the current calendar year. “We are working on different options. Hypothetically, you can resume the championship on May 17, but this is only an assumption. It is also possible to finish the championship in September-October,” the head of the Football Federation.
