(ORDO NEWS) — A group of international scientists, having combined all the knowledge about black holes, studied the characteristic object MAXI J1820+070.
In the course of the study, scientists identified an incorrect axis of displacement, as well as a displacement that is uncharacteristic of a black hole.
As the source says, black holes, which were formed as a result of the death of a supernova in a paired star system, form a system of interaction between matter and the remaining star. As a result, it turns out that both objects have synchronous movement.
In the course of studying the aforementioned black hole, it turned out that the plasma jet flowing from the star has a strange and unusual direction, namely, it is not synchronous with the movement of the hole’s streams.
It is reported that the inclination of the dead star is more than forty degrees, which is not characteristic of such objects.
Scientists came to the conclusion that a similar feature of the system can be described by the moment of the supernova explosion.
According to the head of the study, at the time of the death of the star, a shift could occur, which determined the current position of the black hole.
In the future, scientists plan to test other black holes for a similar phenomenon.
