US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — As it became known, Intel, together with scientists from the University of Pennsylvania, will create artificial intelligence to find cancer in its early stages.
29 international medical and research institutions will be involved in the development and further training of the neural network , headed by an institution called Penn Medicine.
Together, they will load the images at their disposal into the general AI base so that she has the maximum amount of “food” for training.
“AI shows great promise for the early detection of brain tumors, but it will need more data to reach its full potential.” Using Intel software and hardware, we work with the University of Pennsylvania and a federation of 29 medical centers to promote brain tumor identification while protecting sensitive patient data,” said Intel Labs chief engineer.
