Insiders predict Hamilton to Vettel’s place in Ferrari?
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Even in the absence of real races on the sidelines of Formula 1, rumors and gossip constantly arise that relate to the championship itself, to individual Grand Prix, and, of course, pilots.
In recent days, the formal audience has been hotly discussing the refusal of ex-world championship Sebastian Vettel to sign a new contract with the Ferrari team.
The Italian Scuderia offered the four-time world champion a one-year agreement with a salary of 12 million euros per season, while previously the German racer received 40 million euros.
Naturally, Vettel account is almost an insult and rejected the deal. Although, I must admit, the last season at Ferrari he failed and he even lost to his partner, the Frenchman Charles Leclair, whose salary is only 10 million euros per year.
Experts rated this step of the Italian “stable” as a direct hint to the ex-champion that he does not quite correspond to the level of “stallions from Maranello.” This is despite the fact that a line of young and ambitious pilots has lined up at Ferrari, among which they are called, first of all, Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. and Australian Daniel Ricciardo.
