US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The Indian Air Force MiG-29 fighter crashed in the border region of Punjab with Pakistan during a training flight, according to the Hindustan Times.
The incident occurred around 10:30 am local time on May 8 in the vicinity of Hoshiarpur. The pilot managed to eject and safely landed in one of the districts of the city.
Shots from the crash site indicate that the fighter flew apart and burned almost completely. The reasons for what happened to be understood by experts.
