(ORDO NEWS) — California has experienced a record drop in water levels due to drought. As a result, a historical artifact from the Second World War was found at the bottom. This is reported by The Guardian.

She was used to transport troops to the battlefield for beach landings. The boat could be seen last fall, when it began to appear in the shallow waters of Lake Shasta.
At the moment, experts are wondering how the boat could end up in California’s largest reservoir. U.S.
Forest Service officials from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest said the causes and circumstances of the flooding are still a mystery.
